Canton Issues Absentee Ballot Info For Budget Vote

Those voting via absentee ballot must pick them up at the Canton Town Clerk's office before the May 7 referendum.

CANTON, CT — Those requiring an absentee to vote on the Town of Canton's town/school budget on May 7 must get their ballots in person at Canton Town Hall.

The town recently released absentee ballot information about the referendum, which will take place at the Canton Community Center, 40 Dyer Ave., on May 8=7 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Absentee ballots are available in the Canton Town Clerk's office, but they must be obtained in person or they must "designate someone else to pick up your ballot for you," wrote the town.
