Canton Library Seeks Halloween Parade Photos
It is creating a public display in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Collinsville Halloween Parade, which is Oct. 28 this year.

CANTON, CT — The local library is looking to create a public photo display celebrating the annual Collinsville Halloween Parade and they want residents to help.
"The Collinsville Halloween Parade has been an amazing celebration of spookiness, creativity and fun over the years," wrote the town Friday.

As a result, local leaders are asking he public to help the Canton Public Library celebrate this community event by loaning it Halloween parade photos for display from any time during the past 29 years.
This year's event, which is on Oct. 28, will be the event's 30th. It takes place at 7 p.m. that evening, with line-up at 6 p.m. on Main Street in the Collinsville section of Canton.

Photos accepted starting now can either be framed or unframed and those donating can print their photo(s) on their choice of paper.
When you come in to drop them off at the library, fill out the submission slip and tape it to the back of each photo.
"We will hang them carefully and you can pick them up again when October ends," wrote the town.
