Canton Obituary: Ann Russo, 73

Ann S. "Nancy" Russo, 73 of Canton peacefully passed away on Wednesday evening March 2, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph B. and Margaret (Peg) Sisson. Nancy lived most of her life in Collinsville. She graduated from Canton High School, then attended the University of Hartford where she was a member of the Phi Sigma Chi sorority. Nancy donated countless hours serving the Canton Volunteer Fire Company where she was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary.

Nancy is survived by her son Corey Russo and his wife Shannon, beloved granddaughter Ciera Russo, sister Mary Ellen Cosker, niece Lisa Davidson, grand-niece Jaela Davidson, and numerous friends and acquaintances.

There will be a memorial service at 11 o'clock on the morning of Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main Street, Unionville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
