Canton Obituary: Beverly Morse, 72

Beverly Anne Morse, 72, of Canton, passed away Thursday, September, 29, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 15, 1944 in Charlotte, NC daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Nash) Morse. She lived in West Hartford most of her life, she graduated from The MacDuffie School, Springfield, MA with the class of 1962, she received her Bachelor Degree from Lasell College in Newton, MA and her Masters from the University of St. Joseph, West Hartford.

She was a member of the Flagg Rd. Congregational Church, West Hartford, Beverly was a member of the Jr. League of West Hartford and was the Assistant to the chairman for Connecticut A' La Carte cookbook. She had a love of cooking and attended the La Cuisine Cooking School in Paris, France. She was also an avid fan of the Hartford Whalers and a big dog lover.

She is survived by two sons, William H. Grimmeisen and his wife Cindy of Huntsville, AL and David P. Grimmeisen and his wife Christine of Coventry; her former husband, Paul Grimmeisen of Avon; a sister, Marilyn Morse of Suffield; four grandchildren, Carter, Faith, Nathan and Timothy; a dear aunt, Barbara Breck; cousins, Jay, Susan and Sandra.

Her family is very thankful to the entire Breck family for all their love and support.

Her family will receive friends Friday, October 7, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. There is no funeral service.
