
Donald Luther Barstow, 73, of Plantsville, husband of Eunice Audrey (Kittredge) Barstow died Friday, September 30, 2016 at his home.
He was born February 23, 1943 in Hartford, son of the late Luther H. and Bertha (Case) Barstow and had lived in Collinsville for many years prior to moving to Plantsville over 30 years ago. Mr. Barstow was a Truck Driver for Lincoln Oil, Co. for many years prior to his retirement. Don loved taking long country road drives with Eunice, watching western movies and the ocean, especially Cape Cod and lighthouses. He also absolutely loved eating lobster.
He is survived by his son, Glen Barstow and his wife Crystal of Meriden and grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Barstow; her daughter, April Whaley of Plantsville and granddaughter Netanya DuBois; his sister, Carol Sgarellino and his nieces, Debbie Mella and Holly DeoJay. He was predeceased by his son; Tyler L. Barstow.

Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Friday, October 7th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Graveside service will be Saturday, October 8th, 12:00 Noon at the Village Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Collinsville.
