Canton Obituary: Dorothy Benoit, 81

Dorothy (Dottie) Taschner Benoit, 81, of Canton, passed away at home on Saturday, January 16, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hartford, Dorothy resided in Unionville most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, James A. Benoit, brother Luis Taschner, and sister Margaret Reichler.

Dorothy leaves behind three daughters and a son, Cindy MacDonald and her husband Mike of Burlington, Arleen Arsenault and her husband Jerry of Vero Beach, FL, Dianne Benoit Real of Burlington, James Benoit and his wife Tina of Ottawa, KS and her Goddaughter, Cheryl Smith. She also leaves behind a brother, Joseph Taschner of CA, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a very large number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
