
Frank Joseph Angelastro, 91, of Canton, husband of the late Theresa A. (Galanis) Angelastro, died Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 at Avon Health Center.
He was born February 14, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Francesco and Rose (Vedetta) Angelastro and had been a resident of Canton for more than 60 years. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Angelastro was a sales clerk at Jacobs Paint and Wallpaper in West Hartford for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in West Simsbury. Frank enjoyed old movies and listening to music.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Lou Angelastro of Avon; his niece, Janet Payne and nephew, Jerry Angelastro and children and many loving cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Francis Angelastro and his brother, Gerard Angelastro and sister-in-law Margie Angelastro.

There are no calling hours. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 29th, 11 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 265 Stratton Brook Road, West Simsbury. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in Avon.
Memorial Donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor St. Joseph's Residence, 1365 Enfield Street, Enfield CT 06082-4925.
