
Frederick Case, 88, of Avon, beloved husband of Frances (Mikolajcik), died on Sunday, December 3, 2017.
He was born July 15, 1929, in Canton, son of the late Frederick H. and Frances (Sobieski) Case. Fred grew up in Avon and moved to Canton to raise his family. He was a carpenter in the National Guard for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling to Rhode Island and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children, Jackie McCarty and her husband John of Conyers, GA, Karen Dorvel and her husband Bob of Boston, MA and Leslie Bahre and her husband Mark of Canton; 7 grandchildren, Katie and Grayson Dorvel, Case and Evan McCarty, Tyler, Benjamin, and Hunter Bahre; and a great-grandson, Maxx VanHorne.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, Collinsville. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at McLean’s Chapel Crossing for the loving care the nurses and CNAs gave to Fred.
