Canton Obituary: Mary-Rose Jaschinski, 72

Mary-Rose Ann (Halleran) Jaschinski, 72, of Canton and formerly of Avon and Farmington, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017.

Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Edmund and Gladys (Gaudet) Halleran, she was raised in Hartford and graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1962. She held multiple jobs to help support her family, including the Phoenix Mutual Insurance Co. where she participated in the All Insurance Duckpin Bowling League receiving multiple trophies. She was a fan of UConn Women's Basketball; enjoyed horseback riding and was an avid reader. She made many animal friends during her later years.

She leaves her loving and kind daughter Lisa Jaschinski who cared for her during her senior years. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son Steven Joseph Jaschinski.

Mary-Rose would like to thank her friends Barbara, Ann, and Linda for their help and support during this difficult time.

Her daughter will receive friends, Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 5-7 pm at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon. Family and friends may gather Friday 9:15 am at Carmon's followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 am at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon. Burial will follow in St Ann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to help Lisa with financial obligations.
