Patricia "Patty" Ann Smith, 68, of Canton, beloved wife of William "Bill" Smith, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. A true friend to many. Always gentle and kind, encouraging others who were also struggling with disability or sickness. We will all miss her presence but take solace in knowing that she is now pain free and in Heaven.
Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Frederick and Jeanette (Duhaime) Connolly, she was raised in Manchester graduating from Manchester High School and lived in Canton for 38 years. She received her LPN from A.I. Prince School of Nursing and served as a Pediatric Nurse at Saint Francis Hospital for several years.
