Canton Obituary: Timothy Durkin, 72

Timothy Michael Durkin, 72, of Canton, beloved husband of Margaret (Coates) Durkin, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington.

He was born February 15, 1944 in Hartford, son of the late James Thomas and Josephine (Caesar) Durkin and had lived in Simsbury prior to moving to Canton 37 years ago.

Besides his loving wife of 48 years, he is survived by his two daughters, MaryAnn and Maureen Durkin of Canton; his brother, James Durkin and his wife Maryellene. He was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Burton.

There are no calling hours and services will be private.
