Canton PD Monday Pays Tribute To Late Dispatcher
Local police have announced the passing of a beloved emergency dispatcher, who retired more than a decade ago.
CANTON, CT — The local police department is mourning the loss of a retired Canton Police Department dispatcher.
The CPD announced Monday morning that Judy Lockwood, who was a dispatcher for "many years," had died.
Police said Lockwood retired from dispatching duties in 2010.

Though it has been 13 years since she worked in emergency communications, local police officials still paid high tribute to her.
"We are sincerely thankful for Judy’s contributions to this department and to the Town of Canton," wrote the CPD via Facebook. "Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers."
