Canton Police Investigating Sexual Assault Allegation
A third-party complainant reported the assault took place around 11 a.m. Tuesday on a bike trail.
CANTON, CT — The Canton Police Department is currently investigating a report of a sexual assault that allegedly took place late Tuesday morning on the bike trail between Canton Springs and Atwater roads.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, wearing a gray shirt and black shorts.
The information was provided by a third-party complainant; a victim has not yet been identified.

Canton Police searched the trail Tuesday night and again Wednesday morning.
