Canton Police Seek Sponsors For Special Olympics Torch Run

CANTON, CT — The Canton Police Department is partnering with Special Olympics Connecticut to raise funds through an Adopt-a-Mile campaign tied to the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The fundraiser invites businesses, families, and individuals to sponsor a mile along the Torch Run route.

Sponsors will be recognized with signage displayed during the event.

The Torch Run is scheduled for June 3 through June 5 and will span more than 530 miles, passing through 100 cities and towns across Connecticut.

Proceeds from the campaign will support programs for Special Olympics athletes statewide.

Sponsorship forms can be accessed via a QR code provided by the department.

Completed forms and donations may be submitted to the Canton Police Department.
