Canton Quartet Provides Gift Of Comfort For Local Seniors
The group of young people recently refurbished the wooden benches outside the Canton Senior Center.
CANTON, CT — The generous expenditure of time and effort by four local youths will result in a more pleasant experience for folks visiting the Canton Senior Center.
Located at 40 Dyer Ave., the center's benches outside have not been in good shape, with the wood wearing and providing for an irritating rest for those using them.
But thanks to one quartet of "community-minded" youths, that is no longer an issue.

According to the Town of Canton, the benches outside were resanded and refinished to "help restore them so that everyone may sit comfortably and enjoy a little sunshine, chats with friends or beneficial quiet time."
