Canton Receives Considerable Support in Latest Girls Basketball Poll
The Warriors have won 14 of their first 16 outings this season.

CANTON, CT — In the wake of Sunday night's thrilling Super Bowl finish came more exciting news for the Trumbull High School girls basketball team, which moved into the top position in the latest weekly media poll.
The Golden Eagles (16-0), the lone remaining undefeated girls team in the state, garnered 10 of 13 first-place votes to move up from second in the balloting.
Canton (14-2) did not crack the top 10, but received considerable support from voters.
