Canton Restaurant Seed 41 Closes Permanently

A Colinsville restaurant that opened last year has closed.

CANTON, CT — Seed 41, a restaurant in the Collinsville section of Canton, has closed permanently, The Hartford Courant reported.

"Much to our dismay we have made the decision to close the restaurant permanently. We want to sincerely thank you for the many years of continued support in our businesses and family!" the restaurant announced on its website.

The restaurant opened in March 2021 under the leadership of chef Sean Butler and his father, Mike Butler. It was created by the father-and-son duo after their previous establishment, Francesca’s Wine Bar and Bistro, closed due to the pandemic in 2020, according to The Hartford Courant.
