Canton Road To Be Closed Thursday
The roadway will be closed to allow for tree work at the site.
CANTON, CT — Tree work planned for Thursday will close a section of local roadway for much of the day.
The Town of Canton announced that Lawton Road (from Washburn to Gracey) will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon due to the job.
As a result, town officials said detours will be in place to circulate traffic around the work site.

Only emergency vehicles and local traffic will be allowed to pass and motorists are advised to use caution in this area.
