CANTON, CT — Families looking to take advantage of the weekend's expected beautiful weather won't be able to enjoy the playground and grounds at Cherry Brook Primary School. That's because the town Friday announced the Cherry Brook Primary School campus will be closed over the weekend for "property maintenance." The school, located at 4 Barbourtown Road, Canton, will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday, May 13, to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 14, according to the town. "We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation," wrote the town.
