Canton Schools Look To Fill Board of Ed Vacancy

CANTON, CT — Folks looking to serve their school community have until the end of the week to apply for a vacancy on the Canton Board of Education.

The Canton Board of Education seeks an individual to fill an unexpired term on its board that runs through Nov. 16, 2027.

Applicants must be registered as a Democrat, Republican or Unaffiliated voter in the Town of Canton.

"As a board Member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational policies and priorities of the school district, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to all students," wrote the Canton School System.

Interested candidates should submit a resume and supporting documents to Lou Daniels, chairman of the Canton Board of Education, by noon on Friday, Jan. 30.
