Canton Schools/Town Offices Announce Holiday Impacts
Schools dismiss early Friday, Dec. 23, and are closed all next week while town offices are closed for each of the two holidays.
CANTON, CT — Local offices and schools will have varying degrees of impacts starting at the end of this week prior to the Christmas holiday.
Local officials announced Monday all town offices and the Canton Public Library will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2, for the observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, respectively.
In addition, the library will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 31, officials said.

Meanwhile, local schools will have early dismissal Friday, Dec. 23, and school will be out all the next week, Dec. 26 to Dec. 30, as well as on Monday, Jan. 2, for the holidays.
