Canton Scout's Project Moves Police

A Canton Eagle Scout has created a bench and memorial plaque to honor the sacrifices of police and police department employees.

CANTON, CT — A local Eagle Scout is earning high marks with the town's police department for his scout project in which a new bench and plaque honoring law enforcers was dedicated Monday.

According to Canton Police Department Chief Christopher Arciero, former Canton resident Aidan James Obrzut actually returned to Connecticut to complete his project after his family recently moved to Texas.

The plaque and bench is designed to honor the sacrifices made by police and police department employees.
