CANTON, CT — Most Connecticut communities rely on the hard work and dedication of volunteers to help make those towns run smoothly

And Canton is now different.

As a result, the Town of Canton is looking for residents who want to volunteer their time participating on boards and commissions.

"If you are a resident, you are registered to vote and would like to give back to your community then please consider applying," wrote the town on Wednesday.
