Canton Selectmen Approve 4.37% Budget Increase

The budget must go before the Finance Committee as the next step.

Canton selectmen have approved a budget with a 4.37 percent increase over the previous fiscal year.

The budget shaved off $10.1 million from what the chief administrative officer proposed, according to the Hartford Courant.

The Board of Education received a budget that includes a 4.51 percent increase request from the superintendent.
