Canton Superintendent Suggests Full-Day Kindergarten
The board will vote on the measure next month.

Canton Superintendent Kevin Case has suggested that the school system implement full-day kindergarten for the next school year.
The Board of Education is expected to vote on the measure Dec. 9, according to the Hartford Courant.
The current system offers a half free-day of kindergarten and parents can pay $2,500 for an extended day. The new proposal is free full-day and an option for half-day as well.
