Canton Tip-a-Firefighter/EMT Scheduled for August 21

The 5th Annual Tip a Canton Volunteer Firefighter/EMT will be held at Dish ’n Dat at The Shoppes at Farmington Valley in Canton on Thursday, August 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Canton’s volunteer firefighters and EMTs will serve patrons at Dish ‘n Dat during lunch and dinner. But they won’t just serve customers, they will also play host/hostess, busperson, food expediter and barback.

The coupon can be used to enjoy either lunch or dinner at Dish ‘n Dat, and 10% of the bill will be donated to Canton’s volunteer firefighters and EMTs, along with any tips. Dish ‘n Dat is also very generously donating 10% of all sales for August 21 to the Town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department.

More than $4,000 has been raised since beginning the fundraising program in 2010 by Dish ‘n Dat and their customers.
