Canton Welcomes Shiny, Red Rescue Truck To Fleet
The Town of Canton Fire & EMS Department officially received a brand-new rescue truck, replacing one in use since 1999.

CANTON, CT — Obviously, no Canton residents ever want to require the services of the Town of Canton Fire & EMS Department.
But Friday, the town's firefighting organization unveiled a new rescue truck that should provide the latest, state-of-the-art care if needed.
Rescue 5 was previously served by a truck that dated back to 1999, so it was a long time coming for local firefighters.

Friday, the department posted images inside and out of the vehicle, which is shiny and red (as it should be).
The department thanks Cheshire-based Northeastern Fire Associates, which is the company hired to produce and deliver the vehicle that was incorporated into the local fleet last week.
