Canton's Christmas Tree Collection: What You Need To Know

Folks have until late next week to take down their Christmas Trees and get them by the side of the road for town collection.

CANTON, CT — If you're the type of person known for being the last in your neighborhood to take down your Christmas Tree, here's some incentive to skip that practice.

The Town of Canton announced recently its policy on tree collections and they have a simple means to explain it: "You take it down. We take it away."

Of course, there are some ground rules.

Namely, trees must be laced near the public road no later than Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, with pickups starting the following Monday, Jan. 8.
