Canton's Labor Day Impacts Revealed
Canton officials this week announced what's open and what's closed regarding the Labor Day holiday weekend.
CANTON, CT — Canton's community is looking to wind down this weekend with the unofficial last days of summer.
As a result, the Town of Canton has announced several Labor Day holiday impacts on municipal affairs.
The town said all Canton offices and the Canton Public Library will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4.

The Canton Transfer Station, however, will be open with regular hours on Tuesday/Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Schools, as they are in all towns in the state, are closed on Monday as well.
