Canton On Thanksgiving, What You Need To Know
From schools to trash to town offices, Canton is making adjustments due to the holiday weekend.
CANTON, CT — Local offices and services will be impacted by the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
According to the Town of Canton's Facebook site, all town offices and the Canton Public Library will close at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23.
They will then be closed all day Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25.

In addition, the library will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 26.
The transfer station will be open Tuesday, Nov. 22, and Saturday, Nov. 26, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. this week.

Meanwhile, Canton Public Schools will dismiss early on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and be closed as usual on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25.
