Celebrate 'Dino Day' at Canton Library with Guest Performers 'Two Right Feet'
An educational and fun dinosaur-themed story time happening at the Canton Public Library on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:30 a.m.

Is there a young dinosaur fan in your house? The Children’s Room at the Canton Public Library hopes so! On Tuesday, October 14, 2014, drop in for a special educational and fun dinosaur-themed story time given by guest educators, Two Right Feet (2RF). With expertise in the fields of music, dance, speech and occupational therapy, 2RF has experience bringing language and arts enrichment--through music, movement and stories--to preschoolers through third graders.
Always interactive and energetic, the 2RF performers will incorporate group singing and shared percussion instruments , supported by guitar or bass guitar, in their always moving/dancing/talking/reading performance. They might use sign language or finger play activities to reinforce fine and gross motor skills, school readiness or literacy preparation. Attendees have described the experience as “playful,” “captivating,” and “joy-filled,” and the performers themselves as “sensitive and caring.” Their website, www.tworightfeetmusic.com has more information.
The October 14 program at the library is free and begins at 10:30 a.m. No registration is necessary to attend. Children ages 3 and up are welcome, though school aged kids are definitely invited, since it’s a day off from school for Canton children. For more information, call the library at 860-693-5800, email childrensstaff@cantonpubliclibrary.org, or visit www.cantonpubliclibrary.org. The library is located at 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton, CT 06019.
