Celebrate Love Of Animals At Canton's Roaring Brook Nature Center
The beloved attraction will host Valentine's Day crafts and animal visits during Valentine's Day weekend, Feb. 14-15.

CANTON, CT — The Roaring Brook Nature Center will host a Valentine’s Day celebration this weekend featuring animal visits and craft activities for visitors of all ages.
The event, called "Love Our Animals Weekend," will take place Saturday, Feb. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the nature center, 70 Gracey Road.
Admission to the activities is included with regular entry, and preregistration is not required.

Visitors will be able to make Valentine’s Day cards for the center’s resident animals and for loved ones.
Crafts and special visits with the animals will be offered throughout both days.

The nature center is also seeking donations for its animals through an online wish list. Contributions can be made via the center’s Amazon wish list.
The Roaring Brook Nature Center is a nature-focused educational center and wildlife rehabilitation facility in Canton.
The site includes a nature preserve, museum, and classroom space, with approximately 5 miles of trails, live animal exhibits — including birds of prey — and programs centered on Connecticut’s natural history and environmental conservation.
