Child Car Seat Safety Topic Of Canton Police Clinic

The free program will take place on Monday, Sept. 18.

CANTON, CT — Local police are hosting a special clinic for families early next week that could save the lives of a child should disaster strike on the roads

The Canton Police Department is conducting a free child car seat installation and inspection clinic on Monday, Sept. 18.

It will take place between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The CPD's certified car seat technicians will be at the Collinsville Fire Station (51 River Road) to provide instruction and assistance on proper installation and child passenger safety.

In addition, some free car seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
