Awards will be announced in May.

“For many decades, CCHF’s award recipients have used their talents and dedication to our community, to support and positively impact the lives of our neighbors, friends and families. As Canton’s residents and organizations move forward in the coming years, we will proudly continue to fund their endeavors with purpose, determination and promise,” said CCHF Chairperson Sylvia Cancela.

Each year, CCHF awards scholarships and grants, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per applicant.

In 2022, when the Canton community was still feeling the repercussions of the Covid pandemic, CCHF funded scholastic and community grants worth nearly $50,000.
