Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Thomas Turon, of Collinsville, is one of 15 Roger Williams University students who received the 2018 President's Core Values Medallion, which is awarded to graduating seniors who best exemplify the core values of the University. These students have truly embraced love of learning as an intrinsic value, preparation for careers and future study, collaboration of students and faculty in research, commitment to community through service and sustainability, appreciation of global perspectives and promotion of civil discourse.

University of Delaware, Newark DE

• Four students from Canton have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester: Jessica Cole, Natalie Ericson, Nathan Fulham and Justin Mulcahy. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students from Canton have been named to the Dean's List for spring 2018: Devon Savino, Avery Buehler, Natalie Olmstead, Gabrielle Rose, Cindy Amoroso, Yuanyuan Glaser-Hu, Christina Titarenko, Maxwell Mclean, Christopher Villano, Emily Barnes, Audrey Brown, Elizabeth Whytock and Katelin Dorff.

Wheaton College, Wheaton IL

• Wheaton College student Emily Guersch of Collinsville recently performed in the 2018 Commencement Celebration Concert. Guersch played clarinet with the Symphony Orchestra and the Symphonic Band.
