Collinsville Trick or Trot Results

5k Race to benefit Canton Dollars for Scholars had a successful second year.

A hearty group of runners and walkers handled the cold, windy and rainy morning on Saturday The Collinsville Trick or Trot 5K Fun Run and Fitness Walk. While the weather held down the number of runners, it did not hold down the spirits of the runners and volunteers.

The top male runner was Piotr Kostyk (17:53) and Jackie Birge repeated as top female (21:42). Morgan Babbit (23:09) was our top youth finisher. Best costumes went to Group - Lynn & Dan Schofer and Caitlin & Daniel Lannon as The Minions, Adult - April Lionberger as Mona Lisa and Child - Thomas Hagymasi as Batman.

All proceeds from the event benefit Canton Dollars for Scholars and will go to scholarships benefiting Canton residents.

A special thanks to our supporters Bremar Rental, Shoprite of Canton, Mr. Trophy and Collinsville Screen Printing. Thank you to Michael Taricani who provided his expertise in marking the trail and improving the quality of our event. And a final big thanks to Tim O’Donnel and his students for helping us to time the event and provide official results this year.
