Connecticut’s Secretive Bobcat is Focus of Nature Presentation

A talk by Master Conservationist Paul Colburn on their habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction, and current research.

On Tuesday, January 23, at 7:00 p.m., The Bobcat: Connecticut’s Secretive Wild Cat is the subject of an informative talk at Canton Public Library. In this presentation by Master Wildlife Conservationist, Paul Colburn, the focus is on the natural history of bobcats in Connecticut, providing an overview of bobcat habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction, and current research efforts. See artifacts related to bobcats and discuss the controversial claims of mountain lion sightings.

Mr. Colburn is a certified graduate of DEEP’s Master Wildlife Conservationist program, trained in wildlife management, natural history, and interpretation. With 65 presentations under his belt, he loves engaging and talking with the community about the natural world. The program is free, although registration is requested for seating set-up.
