Craft Brewery Plans For Expansion To Canton

CANTON, CT — A craft brewery and taproom based in Canaan Union Station is seeking to expand to Canton, according to The Hartford Courant. Great Falls Brewing Co. is planning on opening a 2,000-square-foot taproom in one of the industrial buildings at the Collins Co. axe factory complex.

The taproom would also include 1,000 square feet of outdoor space along the Farmington River. Great Falls laid out its plans for economic and community development officials earlier this month, saying that the taproom could attract 200 to 300 visitors/residents on a good night.

Great Falls opened six years ago in the Canaan Union Station and recorded more than 33,000 visitors in 2019.
