CANTON, CT — Five people were sent to the hospital due to a crash Saturday evening in Canton, according to media reports.
The crash happened on Route 44 in Canton near Brass Lantern Road and the Simsbury border, NBC Connecticut reported. Multiple cars were involved in the crash, and the occupants were extricated from the cars.
WFSB reported that there was no initial word on the crash's cause, including possible weather impacts. Investigators are on the scene.
