Do-It-Yourself Repair Help Offered at “Jewelry Hospital” Program

A free workshop at Canton Public Library will help you repair and restore ailing and broken costume jewelry.

Does your favorite jewelry need some attention? On Saturday, January 20, at 11:00 a.m., Canton Public Library offers "Jewelry Hospital,” a free workshop to help you repair and restore your less-than-whole costume jewelry. Bring your own item to clean, repair and/or modify and we will guide you to make your best-loved jewelry healthy and sparkling once again! Assessment will take place first, allowing for necessary set-up, and repair materials to be selected. Bring costume jewelry only for this program, no expensive pieces, please.

The group size is limited to eight participants, a perfect number to allow personalized attention. Registration is required to provide enough supplies. Canton Public Library is located at 40 Dyer Avenue in Canton. For more information please call (860) 693-5800, email bvanness@libraryconnection.info or visit www.cantonpubliclibrary.org.
