Downright Jam

Musical sounds often emanate from the front deck at Downright Music and Art in downtown Collinsville. On a recent night this week, a group of musicians played together for just the second time but attracted the ear of many, including several members who were in town as part of "."

The musicians were Kathryn Bossert of Canton on drums, Lauren Blasig of Southwick, Mass. on guitar and Naomi Kravitz of Canton on bass. Bossert said the three aren't a formal group but are exploring the possibilities.

"We're just seeing how it goes," she said.

Kravitz is co-owner of the store and Blasig a guitar teacher there.
