Drop Unused Medicine At Canton PD's Headquarters

The Canton Police Department is hosting a National Drug Take Back Day event on Saturday, April 27.

CANTON, CT — Canton residents this Saturday, April 27, have a place to safely dispose of their unwanted medication as part of National Drug Take Back Day.

The Canton Police Department, in partnership with the Canton Youth Service Bureau and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, will be participating in the 26th annual National Drug Take Back Day.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the CPD will accept old, unneeded, or unused prescription medications, at the green collection box in the lobby of the Canton Police Department, 45 River Road, Canton.

Those unable to make it to the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, can still take advantage of the collection deposit box year-round.

This service is always free and anonymous (liquids, needles and sharps will not be accepted).
