The Canton Democratic Town Committee has endorsed George Thimot to run for the Board of Selectmen, chairman Mary Tomolonius said.
Thimot replaces Jim Bixler, who was chosen as a selectman candidate earlier this year.
Thimot is a long time resident and former Board of Finance member.
