“Hunger Games Trivia Tournament” at Canton Public Library

 

                       

           Fans of Suzanne Collins should mark their calendars for Wednesday, April 18, 4:00 PM when Canton Public Library will hold a “Hunger Games Trivia Tournament.”  The tournament will feature all three books by Suzanne Collins:  The Hunger Games, Mockingjay, and Catching Fire.

            Do you know all there is to know about the Katniss, Peeta, Gale and Panem?  You’ll have a chance to test your knowledge against other Collins fans in a trivia tournament run by Christopher Hurlburt, who promises to add humor, entertainment, and maybe even a bit of magic to all of the excitement of a trivia tournament.

            In the “Hunger Games Trivia Tournament,” up to 10 contestants at one time get to match wits on their knowledge of all three books.  A buzzing, lock-out game set  gives the players the feel of being on a TV game show! Players compete in preliminary rounds, with the winner of each round competing in the championship round. Prizes will be awarded.

          The Trivia Tournament is free and for ages 11-17.  The event is funded by The Friends of the Canton Public Library.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Canton Public Library is at 40 Dyer Avenue, Canton.  For information:  (860) 693-5800 or www.cantonpubliclibrary.org
