Among the stories to be enjoyed are Strega Nona and Pete’s a Pizza.  In Tomie dePaola’s classic children’s tale, Strega Nona is a grandmotherly witch who dispenses comfort of all kinds, including pasta, potions, cures and magic.  When Big Anthony visits and messes with the magic, there are disastrous consequences.  In Pete’s a Pizza by cartoonist and author William Steig, youngsters will find out what fun it is to pretend to be a pizza!
