Canton Public Library’s second PJ Story Time for March is “Sing in the Spring,” so don your favorite cozy PJ’s and join us for a story time that welcomes daffodils, warmer weather, and the rebirth of all things green. The story time will be held on Thursday, March 22, beginning at 6:30 PM, and will be led by Ms. Heather.
Among the stories to be enjoyed are two which celebrate famous songs and their creators. Blowin’ in the Wind features one of the 600 songs—and perhaps the most famous—by Bob Dylan, with illustrations by Caldecott Honor medalist Jon J. Muth. Sunshine on My Shoulders features John Denver’s famous song about friendship, sunshine, and joy, with illustrations by Christopher Canyon.
PJ Story Time runs from 6:30-7:30 PM. Youngsters will enjoy stories, songs, a snack, a craft, and a short movie. PJ Story Times, which are for children 3 and up, are free, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
