A longtime Collinsville resident and herself a poet, Barrett says of the series:Think of this workshop as a three-session sampler of writing triggers that can free you to play with language in new ways.  Each session will focus on a particular genre (poetry, fiction, and memoir) and will incorporate diverse media (visual arts, music).  Through experimentation, exploration, and play, we will create some surprises on the page.”
