Expect Delays as Thousands of Motorcycles Ride Through Canton Sunday for Special Olympics
Motorists should expect delays at intersections and along these routes.

The Town of Canton has issued a traffic alert for Sunday, Aug. 24, as 2,000 will be rolling through for a charity ride for Special Olympics.
According to the Town of Canton, there will be approximately 2,000 to 2,500 motorcycles traveling through town with a State Police escort at the following times:
*Between 10:20 and 10:50 a.m. the motorcycles will be traveling North on Route 309 to North on Route 179

*Between 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. the motorcycles will be traveling East on Route 44, South on Route 179, into Collinsville then onto Route 4 in Farmington
Motorists should plan for, and expect delays at these intersections and along these routes. Times and route locations may be subject to change.
