Fisherman's Breakfast and Bread Sale in Burlington
Not-Just -For Fisherman's Breakfast: Eggs, Pancakes, Sausage, Bacon, Toast, Juice Coffee. AND Buy Some Delicious Breakfast Bread for Home.
On Saturday, April 9, from 5:30am to 11:00am, the Congregational Church of Burlington heralds the start of springtime and the fishing season with its’ traditional full breakfast served by the Men’s Ministry. The breakfast menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee and juice. In addition, for the first time, members of the church will have, for a free will offering, loaves of breakfast breads: banana-nut, pumpkin, cranberry, traditional Irish bread, coffee cake, and more.
The event is a benefit for the Church’s children and youth ministry. The Church has a growing membership of young families and offers Sunday school classes for all ages, a confirmation class, and a teen youth group. Children and youth participate in fun activities such as monthly movies (Frank’s Flicks) as well as community mission projects. One of their annual community activities is the traveling Polar Express Christmas Carole sing.
In addition to stopping by for breakfast, Reverend Wendell Taylor and the congregation welcome everyone to visit and stay awhile. Sunday services start at 10:00am with children’s Sunday school starting at approx. 10:20am.

The suggested free will offering for the breakfast is $7 for adults and $5 for children. Although walk-ins are welcome, you can RSVP to the church at 860-673-4618 so we can be sure we have enough breakfast for all. To pre-order a loaf of breakfast bread, call Ann at 860-810-3938.
