Four Days Left to Enter Canton Top Dog Contest
Head to Town Hall to enter to get your dog license before July 1.

There are only four business days left in the month, which means only four days left to enter your dog into Canton's Top Dog contest. Dogs whose licenses are renewed before June 28 will be entered into a drawing to get Canton's Tag #1 and a special basket of goodies.
Getting your dog license by Friday is also necessary to avoid late fees or fines. State law requires all dog over six months old to be licensed each year, with a fine of $75 for unlicensed dogs.
To get a license, owners must show a rabies vaccination certificate and pay $8 for a spayed or neutered dog; $19 for unaltered. A $1 per month late fee will be applied after July 1.
Licenses can be obtained at the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall or by mailing a stamped, self-addressed envelope with fee and licensing form to Canton Town Clerk, PO Box 168, Collinsville, CT 06022.
Town Hall opens Monday through Friday at 8:15 a.m. and closes Wednesday at 6:45 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. and Fridays at noon.
